Go for a walk, play in the back yard, learns new hobby via internet, spring clean. So many things other than sitting in the house staring at a screen. Even if you are isolating.

Work. LOL.

if the weather would smarten up, I want to get my telescope out. Also do some railfanning.  
 
Just want to get ideas out there for others while still social distancing. Especially if your in an apartment where you don't have the same options as homeowners.

For the next few weeks will be feeding cows, calving cows, tuning up the air drill, doing books, when the weather improves will be fencing, spreading fertilizer on hay land and then sowing our crop. Maybe will get a couple motorcycle rides in before we get too busy. If the weather is poor I can hole up in my shop and do some of my old bike restoration. Hopefully my wife can keep working and daughter will have to hit the books and study so she doesn’t fall behind.

I will be continuing to volunteer at MCC Thrift Shop as they need volunteers

I took time off work to be home with my son while school is out, so I will be making sure he is keeping up with his school work on the BSD website, that is my main thing. Secondly, try to find a way to explain to my son that we cannot celebrate his birthday until later this year. He was so excited to go to TBirds for his birthday.

I’m going to do like Farmergeorge, and since I need to lose a bit of weight I likely will spend more time walking the dog. The introvert part of me says this is doable .  
Don’t live close enough to a railroad to do like Trevor, but given the amount of graffiti on rail cars, it could be an appreciation of art moment.

It's a thing. Have people in my household who do/did that.  
 
I, for one, appreciate all the railfanning videos on YouTube. My autistic daughter spends lots of time watching them. Lots of really well-done ones out there.

what are going to do when they shut down MCC store that is a non essential service needed which is happening everyday. Go for walk or something else

I had to google it last night as well. Where I come from we called it train spotting. This forum is an education.

continue to work from home as I am self employed. If business falls off and customers are not calling, I will likely get on some projects around the house to stay busy and take my mind off the lack of money coming in. I am going to treat this like an astronaut on a space station mission. Short space walks late in the evening to grocery stores for supplies and then back to the station. This is going to be a tough one with anxiety issues.

normally head to Rivers. The CN line through there is more active than the CP line in Brandon. But I should try watching the CP line for the special paint scheme locomotives.  
 
At least it's something I can do to get away and not really interact. I live in an apartment so, there's only so much one can do.

I'm still doing income tax using paper and pen - wonder what % of people still do that? More lines and calculations every year it seems - forms just seem more convoluted every year - don't know why a person has to fill out almost 2 pages of calculations to claim charitable donations tax credit for example. Oh well, got lots of time now.

Still working but numbers are lower some days so hopefully getting my taxes ready. I keep pushing it off though
