Was there not a comment on your Service Canada site showing an explanation on your messages or correspondence?
Check your service Canada account later tonight it's easier to access then .
Look at your correspondence from EI, check your CRA too you can access it from Service Canada at bottom of page. When you get to CRA it will show payments and credits

My claim says...

My Payment section says...
"Your previous report has not yet been processed.
No additional information is required from you unless you were advised to contact us. If that is the case, call 1-800-531-7555 during business hours and press “0” to speak to a Call Center Agent.
We have no payment information for you."
That is the message I got when I did my report on Mar 28, and have never ever been able to actually reach anyone at that number.
So i dont know if I should give up and just wait to see if money magically appears in my account in 3-5 business from yesterday, or keep calling. Ugh.
