I’m still working and up and down the major streets of Brandon and I’m noticing out of province vehicles. Just wondering what the protocol is, if you leave the province and come back you have to self isolate for 14 days. What is the protocol I see Saskatchewan cars Ontario cars BC cars And car from the US driving around Brandon when they enter the province what’s the protocol?

Well I drive a vehicle with a B.C. plate back and forth to work. It’s my brothers who’s out of school. Many university kids don’t switch over their insurance. Especially considering my brothers insurance would be more than double through MPI. Hope no one calls the cops on me lol.
I believe it’s still mandatory 14 day isolation from province to province etc.

Many people who reside in Manitoba have either a business or farmland in another Province (eg. Sask) and as a result have their vehicles insured through same. As a senior my vehicle insurance through SGI is $641.00 cheaper per year then through MPI (and that's with my 33% discount due to safe driving)

as for the american plates I do know that Brandon is still home in the summer for some current NHL players who bring their vehicles back.

That makes sense I'm sure that's what the majority Are. Manitoba is doing good compared to other areas of Canada and the world and the sooner we're over this the sooner we get back to whatever normal is going to be. Stay safe.
