Wow talk about people everywhere. What happened? Had to be 500 people in Walmart today and there were lineups in every aisle you could think of. Had ice cream on my list but I didn’t buy it because it would’ve been melted by the time I got to the checkout. Every store in the corral centre area seem to have the same situation. Traffic jam on 18 th as well.

Can’t speak for Walmart other than the grocery pickup stalls were already filled with cars for 4-5pm pickup slot before the clock hit 4.  
 
Today was re-opening day for Winners... not sure about rest of the day, but lineup outside was about 30 deep at 4:30!

Yesterday was child tax. The day of, and the next day the stores are always WILD.

And to make it worse it was the bonus child tax day.... an extra $300 per child

We didn't find it bad (yesterday) until mid-late afternoon. At least we were done most shopping by then.  
 
We did drive through the Walmart parking lot (we didn't shop there), the line was large, so we left. At that Dollarama, there were big groups not distancing outside the door. We went elsewhere. We didn't do anything in the Corral Centre at all because it was very busy, almost like Christmas.

Today around 530 and it wasn't bad. Lots of open parking spaces and not much of a line to pay. Maybe 2 people waiting to get sent to checkouts.

I went Tuesday morning and it was crazy. My in-laws went yesterday morning and said the same thing. We had to make a quick trip for something at Home Depot today and the parking lot was packed again

I was shopping at 9 am at Safeway and Walmart. The lots looked busy but inside the stores wasn't bad at all. No line ups at checkout (I used self checkout at Walmart)and aisles weren't crowded.  
 
Walmart garden centre was very busy-there was a line up there.  
 
I hope child tax payment was the reason for crowds today and the stores thin out again for next week.

I was down there for a service call around 5pm, saw the crazy lineup on 18th, pretty sure I saw a lot of flashing lights near the hill crest so I assumed an accident was backing things up ?  
 
Walmart's self checkout lineup was something else and most people seemed to be a lot closer than 6'.

Thought about doing some flower shopping today. I got as far as looking at the parking lots and was dismayed by the amount of people. Parking lots were jammed and there were no people lined up outside. I can't imagine there was much safe distancing going on so I was quite disappointed. Maybe have to order some things for pick up as I certainly wouldn't have felt safe at a greenhouse today. Just my observation and opinion.

They have a fairly small parking lot so even though it looked busy, it wasn't. They also were counting customers (everyone needed a cart), and sanitizing the carts for people. The green spot would like you to call first and set up a time to come (just one person per family). Both will also let you call in orders. I think alternative was doing video chats so you can see things to pick too.

I had planned to go to the green spot on Tuesday afternoon and called ahead to make an appointment as they have requested and they said there was no need. So I headed down there and the parking lot was packed and there was a line up of 10+ people out the door. Really wish the staff would have mentioned how busy they were before I made the trip across town!

in a store since March 5th. If they are not doing curbside pick-up they are not getting my business. We have ordered from Wal-mart, Superstore, Sobey's, Canadian Tire, Staples and the Green Spot. For the most part all of the businesses have adapted and are doing a good job. To wander through Wal-Mart on a bonus child tax day right now is crazy! No way you could social distance.

Ordered my groceries yesterday at 9:30 am and they were delivered at 1. No charge delivery.
