Does anyone know when they will be re-opening? I thought they were considered an essential business. Not everyone has a computer to access their website.

I haven't heard anything about them reopening. Just curious, how did you post on this site? I'm pretty sure I applied for EI on my smartphone. Or you can usually call them if you have questions. If you just need to talk to someone, you can also request a call back on the main service canada website. I'm assuming you have access to the internet somehow since you're using ebrandon. If you don't, your best bet is to call them but be prepared for a few hours on hold.

and I refuse to fill out CPP forms on my phone as I have not very good vision and you can’t do what I need done over the phone. So it is a bad inconvenience for seniors if the government can’t open like everyone else.

Service Canada is re-opening offices. Brandon should be open next week or the week after.
