Yesterday I dropped off a large bag of good used clothing at a bin in a back lane near 34th and Victoria - the bin said City of Brandon Textile Recycling and near the bottom it said Proceeds to Canadian Diabetes. Sure didn't look like the usual Diabetes clothing bin - some time later someone told me that I shouldn't have put the clothes in there because they are all turned into rags - don't know if that's a true statement or not.  
 
Anyway after driving around today I can't find those Diabetes clothes collection bins so please enlighten me - where are they or are they gone.  
 
If they are gone I suppose the only place to donate good clothing is the Nearly New Shop.  
 
Please enlighten me.

You can also donate items to the Super Thrift Adult & Teen Challenge store on 7th Street (former Brick Furniture Store); there are donation bins set up around the city https://www.superthriftbrandon.com/  
I haven't been into this store myself but have heard good things about it and recently dropped a couple of bags of good used clothing in their bins as the Nearly New Shop wasn't taking donations earlier due to Covid. There is also the MCC Thrift Shop on Pacific Avenue - you could check with them to see if they are accepting donations.

The bins you are referring to are for for clothing donations as well as textile donations . The new bins are blue in color. A few of the locations are at 34th and Victoria ave, Keystone center beside south entrance, Sportsplex parking lot near back to name a few.

They like others were not for a while, but they are now. Dropped off 2 batched of donations since. They are really good, and the money goes to a good cause.

Now I have 2 good choices - Nearly New or Super Thrifty Adult and Teen Challenge. Thank you for the information.
