I have a neighbor that uses his trash cans to block parking on the street even tho he has a driveway he has left notes on my vehicles saying not to park on the street yet its in front of my place as well can I move his trash can myself and park there he doesn't park there just doesn't want someone parking in front of his house but we live right across from each other any suggestions. BTW he leaves the can out there all week full or not.

Call the city and let them know he leaves his garbage can on the street all week since that isn’t allowed.

Phone bi-law enforcement and explain to them what the neighbour is doing or have some with a truck to come and pick up a free garbage can

I've received those notes on my vehicles too. He doesn't own the street. Just because he lives there doesn't mean he owns that parking spot. We all pay taxes. We all own every street equally. If there are no restrictions, park there anyway, despite him. But be warned, you may end up with keyed paint, a broken antenna or broken mirror. I've had plenty of run ins with guys like him before.

At this point I’d move the garbage can and put it on his lawn. If he moves it to the street I’d move it again to the lawn. Keep doing this until he comes and talks to you tell him to show you the policy that lets him leave his garbage can there.
