How much is hydro?

Hello! I am thinking of moving into a apartment in Brandon and was wonder how much hydro is a month approximately for a 600-800 square foot apartment. Some places I’ve looked at i:nclude heat in the rent so would that take a decent amount off hydro? Thanks

Call them asking asking about your address you want to move to. They can look up the previous service and give you a monthly budget. Apartments vary from place to place. Depends on insulation, are you on top floor? Are the windows older? Electric hot water tank? Too many variables to say. Are you running an a/c in the summer? You could be looking at 30 to 100 a month.

Hydro can vary widely depending on age of building, how many exterior walls, insulation, how high you run your heat, whether it has appliances, air conditioning in summer, plug in for your vehicle etc.

You would be much better to ask the landlord what it runs or call hydro and ask for an estimate for the last year on the address

I live in a 1 bedroom and it’s around 50-60 monthly
