Hi...I’m looking at getting casually into geocaching. Are there many in Westman? I love the idea of hiding a cache on our property out in the country...are there many people who would travel out of town to find one? Any tips or experiences anyone would like to share? Sounds like a fun way to get out.

I did it a lot a few years back. Brandon has many geocaches. But definately pay for the full membership. It's reasonably priced and you have full access and won't be limited to just the few free ones in town.  
 
Also note: Dauphin is a hot spot for geocaching. There are quite a few active members there and some very unique ones. I recall a very interesting one North of town where you had to bring booster cables in order for open it. They used to host big events there too.

I wil geo cache everyonce in a while when I’m bored. This covid season it’s been very useful. I just use the free one. I have a question though. When your driving to Brandon hills. Or if you search up in pet age area you see quiet a few spots with a hundred geocaches in a row all along a road. The names of the caches are generally just names of people, sports starts, music stars, or just names of people.  
 
Are these actual geo caches. I always assumed it was some one messing with the ap. Why would you setup 30/40 geocaches every 25 yards or so all along a field?

When someone outs out many geocaches at once one after another it is called a Power Trail. They are sometimes themed, as in named after former Brand Mayors in the case of the geocaches south of Brandon towards the Brandon Hills.

Would that subs:cription be with Geocaching.com?

Yes, Geocaching.com is the site. You don't need to pay for a membership to try it out but there are benefits if you do get a membership. Still need a free username to use the site.  
If you do put out a geocache on your property out of town I know there will be people looking for it. But be sure to mention in the geocache des:cription that it is on private property with permission so Geocachers don't feel like they are trespassing.

Is there an actual geocache at everyone of these power trail destinations. Or just somthing for you to check in at on your phone?

There is a log to sign at all those geocaches. Pretty much every single geocache has a log book of some sort that you need to sign to show you found it.
