I am just curious who is in charge of paving and filling all of the potholes? It is ridiculous. I dodged potholes every few seconds on 18th coming from North. Let alone even at Vic and 18 is so bad people are almost getting stuck in them. I probably looked ridiculous dodging potholes but some are so big you think you're going to bend the axels on your tires. I hope they fix them this summer. The ones on the right hand lane from North Brandon are awful.

Did you report to COB? Can phone or email location and they will fix. Spring is obviously always bad for potholes but I’ve reported potholes year round online and they always get fixed promptly.

18th, 1st, Victoria west of 1st and Richmond east of 18th is Manitoba Highways responsibility.

With all the freeze thaw cycles this winter, it is likely to be a bad year.

I think is crazy and unfair. On some streets they looked like they have been bombed and there is no way to avoid all of them without causing an accident with another car. some potholes are very hard to see especially if raining or snowing or at night.  
 
mpi makes us pay the deductible whatever that may be and then put on our record it is an accident 100% responsible.  
 
this is not fair and I know lots of things mpi does is not fair.  
 
potholes - be not considered an at fault accident. deductible should be paid for by the owner of the road whoever it may be and mpi should go after them for the cost of repairs.  
 
and by owner I mean private, city, municipality, provincial and federal. not just streets but parking lots.  
 
perhaps then they would come up with the money to fix their potholes faster.  
 
please no moans of staff or equipment shortages. buy the equipment, hire the staff or contract out the work.

After sitting there telling hockey parents and non-essential travellers to quit whining, here you now are whining. We all know potholes are bad every spring, stop whining about it.

I was just thinking the same thing. Had a big rant about whining and then proceeds to whine.  
 
Well potholes are potholes. We live in Canada they are inevitable. If you damage your car you need to pay your deductible. MPI can't go around fixing things for free. Of course it's a 100% your fault who else would it be? The pothole?? Don't blame the city or province you drove into the hole.
