    Regarding the new strip mall at Richmond and First where the new Timmies will be.  
     
    Were the blueprints upside down? It seems to me that the storefronts are facing South. It looks like the "backdoors " are North facing running along Richmond.  
     
    Is it just me that thinks this looks backwards??

    You definitely aren't the only one. I've thought that it looked backwards since it was obvious which was intended to be the front.

    the parking on the south side? It would likely be nice and bright in the store facing south rather than north?

    Don't quote me, but believe big part of the design had to factor in how to handle Tims drive-thru lineup. Point above re making sure to capture all of that nice South sun is a good one though.... rather be sipping my java in the sun than the shade!

    The reason why the businesses in that building are facing south is because access to the lot will be from the south off 1st St for traffic safety rather than Richmond Ave.

    I just looks so different compared to every other strip mall that has their customer doors facing the street.
