I don’t think that anyone claims the withdrawal from Afghanistan to be well planned.
It has in fact been a total hurried mess but completely necessary to get out of there. It’s the typical American way. Hurriedly Enter a war in a country that they know little about and whose people they understand even less while dragging a few other countries in to support them. Once they realize that they can’t force American values on those people they panic and hastily withdraw.
The ones to blame for this mess are the leaders that took us into Afghanistan in a land based war in the first place, chiefly George W Bush and Tony Blair. They should both be facing war crime investigations.
