reason they were "arrested" was for bargaining chips for the release of the Chinese telcom executive.

I can only imagine the sense of relief and overwhelming joy they must be experiencing, along with their families and all Canadians who hoped each day would be the day they would be released. I hope they are as well a person can be after such an ordeal.

They used the Michaels for bargaining. Hostage taking of Jinping. China stated they were putting the two Michaels to trial for espionage, and that they were justified in that decision. But alas, after the Meng release was the magical releasing of the Michaels?... one has to wonder how much more corrupt China can get in other areas.  
 
Lies. Nothing justified in the Chinese retaining of Spavor and Kovrig.
