Any idea who the two losers going around stealing parcels from doorsteps throughout Brandon are? They carry reusable Sobey's Bags and fill 'em up. Have video footage from security camera - not that it means anything to the police...  
What's a person to do?

Theft is so annoying and frustrating!!! Sorry it’s happened to you!  
 
I work from home so I am able to grab my parcels within 5 minutes of them being dropped off, usually. However, sometimes they put them in “hiding spots” and if I forget to look there, my stuff has stayed out all night! Thankfully, nobody has stolen anything yet.  
 
If I’m going to be away from the house for awhile and am expecting a drop off, I put a note on my door asking not to have things dropped off. They either come back or leave a note of where to pick it up  
 
You can also get a box for deliveries that only you can access. I need to do this but keep forgetting!! I do A LOT of my shopping online so I expect it’s only time before I’m hit by a “porch pirate”  
 
Those losers need to get a life!! Theft is awful

You could get your packages delivered to the post office, look into Canada Post Flex Delivery.  
 
Or you could put a GPS tracker in a box and then notify the police once the thieves take it to their home. Or just a leave a box of cat poop out on your porch for them to come steal.

I saw a guy carrying what looked like a Sobey's bag the other morning. No doubt he was carrying something he just stole. Looked like it was really awkward to carry. Theft is getting ridiculous in town. Sad.

According to the Brandon Sun the police seem to be spending a LOT of time online looking at videos/pictures.  
 
Unfortunately this has been an increasing problem in the city. I have had my parcels sent where I know someone will be there to receive them and specify in the shipping details for the driver to knock or ring the doorbell.
