Depends a lot on what style of art you are wanting. Different tattoo artists have different styles.
Plus the image/idea you have chosen can also affect who you go to.
One artist I would certainly recommend is Eric at Warlock. He did my daughter's owl (which was her first tattoo). He also did my crow (which isn't my first tattoo). Lots of fine detail and shading.
He is extremely professional and easy to talk to. His rates are very reasonable and his style is very clean. (I will attach a photo of the tattoo he did for me. It is on my forearm.)
If you are looking for watercolour tattooing, then Sun Child Studio (on Facebook) would probably be more your thing. Kay is very professional as well.
