Did anyone else read the Notice in the classified section of the Brandon Sun? Deborah M. Boschman is requesting 250 signatures to be an Independent Candidate for the Federal Election. In this Notice, found on B13, she says that she has “a dream for Westman for all of our children and grandchildren, not just the children of boys’ club members.” She wants to “hold church every weekend at a hotel until an election is held.” She states that “they are already trying to run me out of town.”  
 
She also makes some good points about gas prices, recycling and attracting doctors.  
 
An interesting read. If she gets the signatures, the local election might get national attention again. It might not be as interesting as the American Presidential race, but interesting none-the-less.
