HopeI'mWrong said "In case you haven't noticed there is a major supply chain problem going on, firing a large percentage of the people that keep things running for everyone(including yourself) is like throwing gas on a fire.
Once you surrender your rights you usually don't get them back.
Nothing is without risk and people die everyday, after two years it's time to get back to living! "
Supply chain issues started long before covid 19 and have only been made worse by it. We were experiencing shortages and difficulty to source major items for our business in 2017. There are many factors at play including covid, manufacturing shortages, geopolitics, shortage of raw materials , food production issues, natural disasters, weather and labour disputes. Some of these supply chain problems were inevitable given our buying and living habits that are simply unsustainable, it took a disaster like covid to bring them to the fore and show how fragile the world economy can be.
No one is getting fired or losing rights except maybe through their own poor choices. At the moment government has chosen to firmly encourage people to get vaccinated and its time that people got the message.
Government could enact more far reaching powers to get more people vaccinated. Some think this maybe necessary, no one wants it to come to that.
Recent surveys show that the majority of Canadians support vaccination programs and covid control measures. The majority of Canadians have stepped up to their responsibility and they expect the remainder to do the same!
