    Hwy 1 west to griswold closed?

    Manitoba 511 is showing it’s closed, it was showing closed yesterday, any details?

    I understand it is closed westbound from wpg to Virden. Still is.

    It is extremely slippery, with multiple semis and cars in the ditches. Pretty well all the roads around westman are ice covered and slippery.

    Like a skating rink even though they are salted and sanded heavily. Even semis going 80km .Tried to get to work yesterday just turned around come back home. Not worth it.  
    We need some Sun with heat to melt the ice.  
     
    Right now closed Brandon west.

    #1 Is now open east and west.  
    Alot of traffic congestion though..
