Yesterday, around 4pm, there was a ‘gentleman’ who was wandering the mall with his -assumed- two toddlers and wife. The woman was wearing a black face mask while the toddlers along with the man were maskless.  
 
I watched this person have multiple interactions with several different stores employees, where he displayed nothing but arrogance, ignorance, and hostility.  
 
Did anyone else see this person ? I would like to make some sort of formal complaint to a law enforcement regarding his behaviour, but have no information regarding this person.

On a side note, everyone is entitled to their opinion or view points, but getting angry and innocent staff -doing their job- is going to accomplish nothing. Especially in the presence of influential children, when mandates are lifting in just over one weeks time.

In a week you won’t have to wear a mask at all! It’s not really a big deal!

It's not really a big deal, so people should just wear the mask like they are supposed to for this last few days!

It's a bit like speeding up on the road when you already know the speed limit goes up around the next bend, pushing things more than you should, maybe.  
 
What's an even bigger deal is the attitude and disrespect showed to the employees that are only doing there jobs. That's not acceptable behavior, I hope you're not OK with that.

Wasn’t so much this person choosing not to wear their mask. My point was this person deliberately went out of their way to argue with mall store employees when asked to put a mask on or would snap when a sales associate would offer him a complimentary medical mask while he was in their store. I’m certain this was this persons way of making some sort of ‘point’.  
 
You are right, it’s not a big deal as mandates lift right away- as I have already said. But to the other side of that coin, mandates lift in just over a weeks time. This person couldn’t had waited one week to go do their shopping without a mask instead of arguing with people, in front of his children or other peoples children?  
 
It worries me how dismissive people are becoming go this type of behaviour.

Rules are rules. At the moment wearing of masks is mandatory and should be enforced by the law. After the mandate is lifted a business owner can continue to require the wearing of masks and or proof of vaccination and people should respect that requirement and the staff working there. It comes down to little more than a lack of self discipline and the rest of society doesn’t need or have to put up with the rude and selfish attitude of these people that refuse to do as they are asked. The solution is simple, do as you are told.

How do you know he doesn’t have a mask exemption note?? Your assuming he’s anti mask, because he wasn’t wearing a mask but he could very well have a note!!!

I've stopped caring at this point. Most places I've been to seem to be ignoring the masks under noses, thus so be it.  
 
I get that people are sick of masks. But I won't even consider it until I have my flu shot. I know its very late in the season for that, but I feel like influenza is going to come back with a vengeance once the filters are off of our lungs.  
 
I used to be quite hostile to anti-maskers. But by this point, they are making their own bed. That they drag their children into it could come across as child abuse (much like not immunizing against Covid/measales/whooping cough etc), but THAT is a hot take for another thread lol.  
 
Enjoy the coming spring, folks. Hopefully this move won't send the health care system back into chaos (even if I suspect there is going to be a lot of influenza related illness in the near term).  
 
Maybe that is the reason for the mass distribution of rapid tests? To keep the PCR facilities from getting overwhelmed with influenza?

Then he should produce such note at premises that he wishes to enter.

In today’s world we are very focused on the self, what applies to me applies to everyone, and in so many cases the is no communication, only accusations.  
I was talking to a person yesterday that did not realize that the passport recommendations had been dropped and thought it was going to happen on the 15th.  
I don’t know about anyone else, but I am not a mind reader, I need communication.

What you are saying is that if he had a note to say he was mask exempt, that gives him the right to be rude and abusive to store staff??? Rather than have his note in hand and politely say "here is my doctors note, I am unable to wear a mask, but thank you for checking"

Not really a big deal since mask will not be mandatory on March 15. Yes, I agree they should wait but I have been seeing people with no masks for the last few weeks at other stores due to truck convoy  
 
You are still allowed to wear your mask after March 15. Everyone’s choice

So this a-hole is rude and abusive to complete strangers. I pity the poor wife and kids. He probably treats them like crap, too, and it's not like they can go home, crack a cold one, and de-stress.
