At 9:49 pm, there was a meteor burning up northwest of Brandon. I happen to of had a weather camera pointed that direction and caught it.

Actually came here to see if anyone else happened to see that green light in the sky and whatnot might be. Guess I got my answer. Very cool that you caught that. I just happened to look out my living room window at the exact right second and caught it to

meteor actually lit up a spot on the ground. I circled the spot. And if you watch the video and watch that spot, you will see it get bright then dim.

I was walking to 7-11 on 34th when I saw it. Lost it as it went behind the old K-Mart building. I don't know if it is visible on the youtube video but it looked to me like it might of broke up just before it hit the ground. It glowed bright green. Best meteor I've ever seen by far!

I don’t know a lot about this sort of thing so excuse the newbieness, but is info avail on how big it might’ve been/where it might’ve landed?

are that it was the size of a small stone or rock. From what I see online, it was also visible through Saskatchewan. If it survived, it very well could be in Alberta. When it entered the atmosphere, it was well over 100,000 feet. So it's really high up and then once it exits that zone of the atmosphere, it's still high up and going really fast. So it's going to have a trajectory that will still carry it a fair distance.  
 
My hope is more cameras caught it and their positions can be used to calculate it's trajectory. In the coming days, I really hope to see more footage of it.

At 5:15 today I was on this show talking about the meteor and the camera system I'm using that caught it. Which are 1080p Outdoor WiFi security cameras from Walmart. I've set them up to instead of watching property but to watch the skies for events like this. I'm hoping to get some good thunderstorm action and more meteors.

I just saw another meteor- red yellow green blue in the north falling toward the west.

Caught a bright flash from it

I also saw it. Pretty neat
