Can anybody ever remember if there used to be a convenience store (like Mac's or something?) up on Braecrest?  
 
Also asking because I think one should come back.

There was one up there, more on the eastern side. I believe it had independent owner and was not part of a chain. Didn’t last very long, as I recall.

There was one on Braecrest in the 1990's called Triple A Convenience. It was privately owned by the Anderson family and ran for several years. Back when movie rentals were a big thing. I worked there as a teen. It was located where a plumbing company? is now.  
 
Once Triple A closed. Someone tried opening one again a few years later but it didn't last.

I believe it was called? He was a very nice man. I think there was a lot of trouble with theft from nearby apartments. He was so proud and excited to be open and you could see the stress of the situation wearing on him quickly. Very sad he had to close.

I used to walk down there to buy cigarettes back around 2000/2001. It was a convenience store until 2002 I believe, then was an appliance repair shop and finally a heating and plumbing until they tore it down around 3 or so years ago. Now it’s apartment buildings with inadequate parking so a lot of people park on the narrow road, making it dangerous to drive on for people who live in the trailer park and surrounding apartments.
