City of Brandon Homeless Prevention Strategy
5/31/2022 at 7:01 PM
When is the Federal Government going to step in and create solutions to the homelessness prevention strategy in our province?
It's great that there are a measures of resources that are readily available for those acute temporary situations.
I think it is about time to get our local leaders on par with taking the initiative at creating permanent solutions to the problem of homelessness strategies.
At the Federal level they just can't seem to "balance the budget" but yet are quick to slander one another at election time. Why can't they just get along?
What are the mandatory considerations? What big major corporations need to lend a hand?
Sign me up, I'm ready to get out there and put my hands to work to prevent this social problem!
Just seems that the future is in our generations hands and we need to buckle down to provide back to Mother Earth as well and respect her laws.
I am still waiting from someone who knows something. So I came here to ask what's the solutions.
I've been carefully paying attention to government websites and so far Manitoba has a province wide solution but that's not effective enough, something municipal needs to happen.
Local organizations can only do so much with the funding and donations they do get.
Am I missing something here? Or what is the ultimate solution?
