Stuff

Are you looking for free(ish) stuff, or just stuff generally?
Doors Open Brandon is this weekend.
Air Training Plan, Artillery Museum (Shilo) and Daly House museum are all interesting.
There's a back path that lets you walk all the way from 34th Street to 50th Street (city limits) running along the CP mainline (note: you walk through a field of sorts behind a park and some condos at about the half way point - there is also an access point there behind Fox Place Park at Fotheringham @ Rosser). When you get to 50th, you can either go north and follow the hydro right of way to the river (you skirt the golf course), or south towards Vic and pick up one of a couple of paths that eventually lead back to Rosser or Centennial. This walk is a fav of mine as you often see wildlife, like deer, skunks, snakes, bats and coyotes.
Hike in the Brandon Hills
Sandy Lake can be really nice and I think there's public access beach there.
Minnedosa has nice walking trails once you walk over the dam. I'm unsure how it's been affected with flooding etc.
Neepawa is beautiful. River Bend Park is lovely. The whole town is just a nice place. It also has a super interesting museum.
