Any body try the new Pluto TV?

I tried it and couldn't make it work. My streaming box is quite old though, maybe an upgrade is in order.

I was about to download it after reading about it in another thread not too long ago. Then read the horrible reviews and chose to skip it.

Contrary to the way it's advertised, Pluto TV is only free if you don't cast to an external screen, in which case you pay the same subs:cription fees as HULU, Amazon, Disney, Netflix, etc. If you're looking for a free streaming service, try Tubi. https://tubitv.com/home

I'm a little disappointed in it. I'm not into the oldies like Gunsmoke, Love Boat or Game shows.  
 
Installed on our Roku and it works well.

I got it the day it came out. I consider it pretty decent for being FREE!!! At least there’s some variety on it. I like the classics MacGyver, Matlock, CSI has own channel, NCIS own channel, can watch original versions of Hawaii five O, or the newer version.. I’m sure they will be adding more on in a matter of time. It’s not all reality tv but has some. Compare it to River Tv that’s $16.00 plus tax …

It’s pretty good also for being FREE!  
I like the fact when a movie is done it continues on through for hours nonstop. Don’t have to start it up or hit continue like other APPS.  
FILMRISE is another FREE app too.

I'll have to try it out. I recently bought a Ruku tv, so I'll have to add that to the list of options, including Tubi and the many Ruku "live" channels. If I didn't live with a boomer, I would have no use for cable now.  
 
The TV also came with some amount of Discovery+ free, but having sampled it for a month through a Telus promo, I didn't even bother. Mostly reality TV that I can't be bothered to pay for twice.

Another totally free is “plex” all free movies. Check it out we got rid of satellite TV and do not miss it at all.

I’m enjoying Pluto Tv. Can’t really complain about free tv, haha ( contrary to an above post, we haven’t had any problems watching it free, no hidden fees for us, runs same as Tubi). Just finished watching a couple episodes of Laverne & Shirley. Found a few shows on there we like. I follow the fb page and they said they are just getting started so hang tight for even more content in the future.

Contrary to what a previous poster says, Pluto.tv is free.  
 
Are you gonna get anything new on it? Nope. But if you're just wanting to let your brain rot, it's great with some oldies to watch.  
 
Been watching the American feeds for years. While we don't watch a bunch of the channels, the few we do are nice to just let play.

Went back and reinstalled Pluto TV. There is no option to cast, so if you have it installed on your PC and use your TV as your display device like myself, then you're good to go.
