Was wondering if anyone knew of any programs around the Brandon area for youth (10years old) for carpentry or mechanic/building? any suggestions thanks in advance

10 might be too young. In high school you can take trade courses. But if they would like to get a peak at a few trades to see if it sparks interest, to decide for later schooling, you can volunteer for Habitat. At that age they would need a parent or guardian to volunteer along with them.

Try searching some local 4-H programs. They might have a project that might work for you. Most clubs start their year in the fall. I believe there is still a 4-H office in Brandon that might be able to answer any questions about availability.

It's not much but I believe home depot has monthly shops kids can sign up for free.
