Wondering if and when ,the city is going to do anything about the situation downtown in parking lot on west side of City Transit terminal ?  
Sure tarnishes the image of the city , aside from looking quite unsafe.  
Not being mean, or high and mighty, as I realize this group need a place to meet, but its beyond that : turned into an area for shelter, sharing ( and discarding )food, booze and drugs.  
Reminds me of Hastings St. in Vancouver, on much smaller scale, and this one is well hidden as only transit users and drivers are exposed to area.

I agree completely. It's getting worse everytime I walk there. Yesterday I had to turn back as there were so many people staggering, looking dazed and walking straight at me until I moved over. The garbage, vomit and good food thrown on the ground was horrible. All I thought was how can we better help these people and I don't blame people for leaving our city, never mind travel to it or relocate to it. I've told my kids several times to consider relocating and I'll happily go with them. Shame on city council for letting this happen.
