    Main idea of the little libraries is that you take a book and leave a book in exchange.

    My daughter/son-in-law just put one up. Their kids were very excited about sharing books with others!

    do you know where I could purchase a little library? I live in the east end, and there are not any here I could find...I have a lot of good books (adults and children) that I could fill regularly with...thanks

    There is a little library at Rideau park.  
    To get one I think you need to find some one to make one for you. Look on line for designs.  
    I have a couple neighbors that might do it for you. PM me. I am in Eastend.

    I love the idea. When we were paring down our kids' book collection, we put a bunch in the Little Free Library in front of our youngest kid's school (in Winnipeg at the time)  
     
    I've also seen the idea that one could also share DVDs, CDs, etc. In fact, I saw one online that was aimed at DVDs. It was blue and had a "Little Free Blockbuster" logo on it.

    Any ideas to improve libraries - dedicated people go around every week putting in Books-CDs-Magazines they buy

    .....of the DVDs, only problem would be in the summer when it gets +30 out
