I need an arm welded onto my glasses. TCM Goldsmith on Rosser did it for me before but now I can’t find him. Can anyone help? Either with info on how to find him (I know he retired) or with info on where I can take them to get welded if he isn’t available?

If you know he has retired, then you should know that reaching out to him AFTER his well deserved retirement is inappropriate. Let the poor man enjoy his retirement!

The OP was only asking for help . Maybe if he could reach the former owner, (who by the way was always willing to help any customer and if he couldn’t would suggest someone else who could) and maybe he could assist the OP.  
Maybe someone could let him know if there is another place in the are that offers the service?  
This person is looking for help to get his glasses fixed without paying for another pair which takes time and-is very expensive at anytime.  
FYI Lots of retirees like to keep busy and lend a hand now and then. Just don’t want to clock in every day for an employer or their own business.

Are you ok? I mean that sincerely and not in a smart a$$ way. The fact that you took the time out of your day to login and comment under a “please help” post in order to reprimand a total stranger about something that doesn’t pertain to you is disconcerting. I truly hope you are ok.  
 
My response to your comment would be that often or at least sometimes people who close a retail trade location continue to do odd jobs in retirement in their trade from their home. He was extremely nice and I certainly had no intention of stalking his home and forcing him out of retirement or holding a gun to his head until he fixed his weld. (Which by the way was perfect- I am the one who accidentally damaged it again)  
I simply was asking for any info that might lead me to someone wanting the work - either him or maybe someone who took over his trade tools if he wasn’t interested in doing any further work at all.

Is he officially retired and closed now? After that article in the Brandon Sun, he was still open for quite a while he just was not going to be doing any custom work.  
 
I used him for a repair within the last few months and was incredibly impressed with the cost and how fast service.

Scotia Opitical does repairs on glasses. Hands down best service in Brandon.

Yes they did a great job. I got them back and they are perfect and it was very affordable!
