It doesn't help you now, but if you are on Facebook follow R&B Wild Caught Fisheries Canada. They periodically come to Brandon (they were here 2 weeks ago) and I stock up when they come.

The Green Spot sells frozen pickerel fillets. They are excellent.

I buy my pickerel from henry isfeld from gimli mb.
He comes into brandon with the pickerel every couple of months or so...I have been buying from him for years and the quality is excellent. sold in 1 pound flash frozen pkg. $10.00 a pound

Excellent pickerel in a variety of packages. They will be at the Riverbank Discovery Centre Thursday December 14th, 1000-1600. One can purchase right there and then, or advance orders can be made at the following link. Choose pick up only when ordering and they will email to confirm your pick in Brandon. Then show up with your conformation and they'll give ypou your order. easy peasy.
