If deceased parent was under trustee care, do we need a lawyer for reading of will ?
Or does trustee take care of that ?

The person named as executor in the Will takes over responsibilities , if you know the parents lawyer best to contact lawyer to see if the Will is in their possession and they will contact the Executor named in the Will.

The executor named in the will has the responsibilities to carry out the wishes of the will. We used a lawyer to help us. The funeral home also had a good list of things that needed done to give to us.

(the "reading of the will" seems to be a tv thing).

If you are in the Will the executor will contact you with the details. They are not legally obligated to divulge the entire contents of the Will to you although they can.
