what's being built at the pits?

Just noticed from someone I know that there is active development at the old location of "The Pits". Anyone know what's going there?

I might be able to help answer your question, but I've only lived in Brandon for 12 years (but have inside connections to the development and construction community) so I have no idea what "the pits" are...so I am also left wondering what is being built somewhere in Brandon.

^^^ This location is what I was referencing as the other mentioned. 17th east by Paul's Hauling. Legendary location for Brandonites who rode dirt bikes etc., essentially a gravel pit with dirtbike/ATV trails. Sounds like it's industrially reserved now so possibly a factory of some sort?

Nice. Maybe someone will find what's left of the skateboard one of my idiot friends from back in the day threw into the pond 35 years ago .

There's a few things being built there. Cascadia Metals is building a massive expansion to their building. There's also a retention pond being built there for the city.
