A few weeks ago we bought a couple o large tomato plants from Green Spot. They were larger than anything we've bought before, but there were quite a few tomatoes forming on them and lots of flowers. Seemed like more money than we wanted to spend, even though they were marked down by $5 while we were in the store. Well, these plants have pretty well taken over our back deck and we've been harvesting every day. As for dollar value, we are already ahead of the grocery store, and the flavour can't be beat.
