Last minute pumpkins?

Any thoughts on where one might luck into finding a last minute pumpkin? I was at Superstore tonight, saw a couple of people walking around with them and got the last minute itch to get one myself. Unfortunately one of those people told me that they got one of the last two pumpkins at Superstore. The same lady added that she'd been to two or three other grocery stores to no avail.....
