being in a big kafuffle over the mishandling of the casino and the Keystone announcements by the NDP. The Mayor stated how he valued the input of the citizens of Bdn and that he would expect the same of the prov. Well the mayor tends to pick and choose how well he listens. Instances being the fire hall placement (I know done to death BUT) he all of a sudden picks a site on Maple (clearly a location time will show to be wrong headed) and will broker no dissent (I didn’t even know where Maple was ). Have you noticed the concern and valid arguments over losing the Olympic size pool at the Sportsplex with no comparable replacement in the new facility? Is he listening? Now that the casino is to be built in Elton will he get off his high horse and salvage what little good will we have with our neighbours and work with them?
