Daily Burn Newsletter

Today in the mail I received a newsletter called "The Daily Burn" which was basically one huge colour add for a credit card but all the news was based out of...Hell. I'm not exactly sure I understand the full appeal of this kind of marketing.
Any thoughts? Did anyone else get this?
