Delivery Charges

Is it just me or is there other people out there that think that delivery charges for big purchases like fridges, stoves, furniture, etc. etc. etc. are un-neccesary. Especially when it is only 3 blocks from the actual store. The price of delivery is $50.00.
In my opinion this is crap because you are already purchasing something there so why can they not deliver it. Also this is when they say free delivery with in 100 miles. and like i said I am only 3 blocks away
