My son wrote on the walls with permanent marker!!!

Okay so I am moving in 4 days and getting whatever I can packed up when I notice that my two year old son who was sitting on the stairs playing with the kitten is being just a little too quite.... Well turns out he found a green sharpie and got it all over my walls... Does anyone know what will work to take it off other than having to paint?????
