Strand Theatre restoration.
Landmark Cinemas of Canada has donated the old Strand Theatre to The Brandon Folk Music and Art Society.
It plans to restore the building into a self-sufficient, multi-use, community Performance and Art Centre.
Landmark Cinema C.O.O. Neil Campbell, believes this will help bring downtown back to life.
The project is in the very early stages of planning. The total cost is estimated at $2.7 million dollars.

this is a nice old bldg. I hope it does bring something to downtown.
