I am very close to buying my first home. I was told by a trusted financial advisor to hold on until summer or even longer because he had a feeling the market price of housing might go down (due to all of the economic termoil). He is not from brandon and is the first to admit that he may be wrong.  
 
I'm not sure what to think of this, as I think that Brandon is a pretty stable market... but than again I am young and haven't followed it for that long.
