Drivers Licence Renewal

So i went to renew my Drivers Licence and needed a new photo as mine was expried they took my pic and then told me it will be 5-7 businees days for my new one to come, this kinda sucks because now i don't have any photo ID the Liqour marts wont expect an expired one... how will other places take it i wonder going to winnipeg this weekend hope the casino will except it. Think there could be a beeter way of issuing. Like the old way better
