Discussions

Since the discussion of the Brandon Clinic strike, and everyone suggesting they could just find another job, I was thinking about why I was staying at my job, other than the fact I need to work to survive. I am sure everyone would love more money if it were offered. Some of my reasons for staying:  
 
Pros:  
 
-great benefits  
-4 weeks vacation  
-Mon - Friday  
-no weekends, nights or Sat.  
-Free parking with plug ins  
-invested 19 years at this job  
-if I need to leave for an appointment, it is never an issue  
-great people, who now understand my health issues, that I would just have to explain all over again if I were to find another job.  
-internet at work - lol  
 
Con:  
-more pay (doesn't everyone want more)  
-too much gossip  
-the odd annoying co-worker  
 
So my list of pros is much longer than my list of cons, and my list of cons could occur at any workplace. There is good and bad in all of them.  
 
At this point, I am happy to have a job the way things are going accross the country.  
 
Unless Adam and e-brandon are hiring, then I may have to check my lists again!
