Overnight fire sends nine people to hospital

Nine people were sent to hospital after a fire broke out inside a home in the 700 block of 10th street Friday night.
The Brandon Fire Department responded to the scene just before midnight.
Six adults and three children were treated for smoke-related injuries.
One of the children was admitted in serious condition but has since improved.
The home itself was salvaged, although there is heavy smoke damage.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
