I am writing to start a discussion on vandalism. This is going to sound like an angry rant, and I won't even try and pretend it isn't, and I thank Adam and the rest of my good eBrandon collegues for humoring me while I unload. This note however, is also an appeal, and I hope someone will come forward with some information that I am looking for. More on that in a bit...  
 
For the past few months, we have been having some trouble with three young teens in our neighbourhood. These three like to play football on the street, and venture onto anyone's yard that seems to be attractive to them. They have seen fit to like to use our front yard whenever the mood strikes them, and of course, as soon as we went out and said something to them, the mood has been striking them more and more. Some of you will now chastise me for having said anything to these kids: by saying anything, you'll say, I've just brought this trouble on myself. Granted. Won't argue: won't disagree: chastising duly noted...  
 
I am someone of the mind however, that is just not willing to let kids like this get away with whatever they want to get away with, whenever they like and on whomoever's property they wish to do it on. As a homeowner, I shouldn't have to.  
 
At any rate, a couple of days ago, these three kids decided to use our front yard to play their little football game. I was not home at the time, but my wife went to the front door and told them to take their game somewhere else (we know they live very close by in the area, so she told them to go and play at their own home). One of these kids (and the three of them are no older than 13 or 14) came right up to her and put a sh**-eating grin on his face and was very smug while they talked. One of his friends meanwhile, pulled out his cell phone and started taking pictures of my wife and our house (how's that for smug and arrogant?). They eventually moved off across the street and stood and made noise and gestures until this finally bored them enough to the point where they finally moved on. Speaking of arrogance, a month or so ago, one of these kids took it upon themselves to actually 'moon' my wife who was watching them in the front window of our home. This happened mid-afternoon in broad daylight. Arrogance unlimited...  
 
Last evening, my wife and I went out with friends for the evening, and while we were out, our house was 'egged'. No less than a half dozen eggs thrown at our front door, the stucco and mailbox on the front entrance of our home. It was not discovered until this morning, and of course is dried and frozen, and I am not really sure how I'll remove the egg from the stucco short of repainting our house.  
 
Okay, enough rant...now the appeal...  
 
I am looking for these kids. If anyone knows of kids fitting this description who live in the area of 39th to 41st streets, and the area of Park Avenue to McTavish, I would very much appreciate if you could PM me and give me any information you may have. I would like to talk to the parents of these kids, as their behaviour of late has tipped over the border between nuisance and harrassment. I am not taking this lying down, and I am not backing down from such insolence. EBrandon, thank you for letting me have my long rant.  
 
To the three kids who have done this (assuming one of you may be on eBrandon once in a while, and assuming you're smart enough to read or have friends smart enough that will fill you in), what you did last night is one of the most spineless, cowardly acts you will ever perpetrate. You'll all have your good chuckle about putting a good one over on us, but once you're older, you'll realize how cowardly and pointless what you did was. Trust me, you're all smug and arrogant and think you're smart as hell, but (and pardon my language here), in truth, you all have no balls.
