from Manitoba Net:
Dangerous spider.
A unique arachnid made a surprise appearance in Russell. Employees at a grocery store found a spider near a crate of South Americian bananas. They caught it and took it to Major pratt Science Teacher Bonnie Morris to identify. Morris says it appears to be a Brazilian wandering spider.
That spider has been classified by the Guiness Book of World Records as one of the world's most dangerous spiders. Fortunately, no one was bite by the wallcrawler. Manitoba Conservation has collected the Brazilian wandering spider and has sent it to Winnipeg.
