After lurking around on the groups for some time, I've noticed that there is a lot of hatred towards the Mayor. I don't understand why there is so much angst towards our elected leader. In my opinion, he has always acted in the best interest of our city. It seems like a truly thankless job where there is always going to be a shark trying to get him no matter what he does! I am grateful for all he has done, personally.  
 
So what I am asking, is what is the big problem? We elected him, it isn't a dictatorship here. If we don't want him, why was he elected? Is there someone better for the job out there? If there is, why didn't they run for mayor?
