Experienced & Jobless

It sure is difficult to find work when you are a bit older. I am only 51, hard worker, dependable and trustworthy, great attitude in work place and I want to work. The problem seems to be that most businesses a hiring young people. I know they need jobs too but jobs I applied for a couple months ago are now available again. I don't want to put all young people in this category but there are quite a few young people out that are shopping around and only stay a short while. I on the other hand just want a job that I can grow with and stay 10 to 15 years or more. I have a lot of office experience, sales experience and great customer service skills, had my own cleaning business but here I sit with over 100 resumes out there and jobless. I am sorry if I offended anyone in the younger generation. My experience as a business owner hiring younger people was not a very good one. I had a couple that were great but most were totally irresponsible and I would have to leave my other job to go clean what they didn,t. What are all these other "older" jobless people going to do after their lay off. I am here to say, "It's not easy". Hope others are having an easier time of it. Thanks for listening. Adam, if you are reading this, how about starting a new category under jobs and call it Job Wanted.
