Brandonites have some issues, but we have it pretty good.  
 
I will tell you a short story about my 2 grown daughters who both wanted to get away from the City of Brandon to forge a new life in the "Big City". They could not WAIT to get out of Brandon, and off they went.  
 
 
Well, 1 - 2 years later? They want to come back because the cost of living is cheaper, the gas to get around is less inexpensive - they have friends here (unlike the Big City) and they just seem to have an affinity for the City of Brandon and all of it's GOOD features.  
 
I know we all have Brandon City Issues, but it gives me a good feeling that my kids want to come back to live and forge a life here after being somewhere else for a change.  
 
We have it good here. Let's stop the whining and complaining about drivers (Why don't you let them into a lane and give them a wave and a smile?)  
 
AND customer service (Why don't YOU smile at a clerk giving you a hard time because they have had a hard day?)  
 
Give it up for Brandon.  
It's all about quality of life.  
 
If we all are considerate to people that we don't quite understand and give a happy wave, even though we are frustrated, it will make Brandon a better place to live.  
 
Just give it up and wave someone a nice day, even though you are peeved at them.  
 
It will make our City a much greater place to be.
