Over the last week or so, we have watched the City of Brandon preform it's water main flushing. As we were driving along my hubby came up with what we think is a great idea...Instead of washing away gallons and gallons of water, could that water not be reserved, and used to fill the local swimming pools? (the city will be filling these pools at the end of the month). I thought he made a great point!?! There is probably a reason this water can not be used, but seeing swimming pool water is treated anyway, would this not be a great way of recycling?
