Door to door selling

So I know people were saying that a lady was selling books. Well i just had two young girls maybe 8 years old come to the door asking if i wanted to buy cookie dough or cheesecake, and when i asked what the group selling it was they just said "its her summer job" anyone else have this happen, i live up on the north hill.
