Everyone says taking a trade is the way to go, especially now. My husband got on the bandwagon and is now having a hard time finding any work in his chosen field. He graduated from ACC top of his class (4.4 GPA) in the Construction Electricians class and can't find work anywhere. There is one place that promised him a job but they have no idea when it will start. He's kept in contact with them and they keep saying "a few weeks, not for another few weeks". We are at the point his E.I has run out and he needs something now but there doesn't seem to be anything! Being that we need two incomes as we have kids, I'm not sure what we are going to do. He may have to find a minimum wage job until he finds something. Have any other recent graduates experienced the same thing? It's just frustrating.
